Office of the President of the Municipality performs professional and other activities relating to the performance of the executive functions of the President of the Municipality, working bodies - the Commission of the President, and in particular.

Office of the President of the Municipality:

  • - development of regulations and other documents issued by the President of the Municipality;

  • - monitoring the implementation of the acts and decisions of the President of the Municipality and his working bodies and making expert-informative material from the jurisdiction of the President of the Municipality; participation in the preparation of development programs, project proposals and taking care of their implementation; providing expert opinions for the President of the Municipality; preparation of meetings of the President and the Vice President of the Municipality and other meetings organized in the Municipality and ensuring the implementation of the obligations established on these meetings; preparation and organization of meetings for the President and Vice President;

  • - performing the activities related to the exercise of co-operation with the Assembly and the Government of Montenegro, the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro, the municipalities in the state and other municipalities and cities in the country and abroad;

  • - dealing with petitions and complaints of citizens and preparation of responses to these; scheduling of receiving the parties by the President, and, if necessary, receiving the parties; dealing with complaints, sent by the state authorities, addressed to the President of the Municipality, in order to establish the facts, and to resolve issues that are the subject of these petitions and complaints;

  • - ensuring compliance of regulations and other documents during their preparation, with laws and other regulations and providing technical assistance to the authorities in the preparation of regulations and other documents;

  • - performing the activities in the field of international, cross-border and other forms of cooperation;

  • - in cooperation with the competent authorities participates in drafting regulations and other acts within their jurisdiction
  • - performing other duties designated by the President of the Municipality.
